This trilogy has been on my TBR since I realized that the show Wayward Pines was originally a book series. Even though it has been absolutely forever since I watched the series, some things are impossible to forget. Like the entire twist of the book or the fact that Season 1 of Wayward Pines is essentially book 1 of the series.

So, reading this was delightful, but also like... damn, why couldn't I have forgotten what happened.

On the plus side, the Wayward Pines show was the reason I found Blake Crouch's books, so yay.

Can't wait to see what Book 2 has in store. I have high hopes because I read in a reddit AMA that Blake Crouch was not involved in Wayward Pines season 2 (and I was only able to watch half of season 2) so... it should be somewhat new to me, right?
