Enchantress from the Stars by Sylvia Engdahl
5.0
This is a fantastic book, I couldn't put it down! One of the finest Science Fiction books I've ever read as the author did a superb job of developing a cohesive plot between three interwoven stories. I think even readers who aren't particularly fond of Sci-Fi will enjoy this book because she concentrates more on the relationships between the three different groups than on the typical Sci-Fi technology. I also appreciated the underlying theme of how people should respect others no matter how different. I think this should have won the Newbery Award rather than Summer of the Swans as it is a far superior book.
