Scrooge and the Girls Next Door by Melanie Jacobson

4.0

I’m so ready for Christmas and this just made me even more excited. In Scrooge and the girls next door you get to meet Paige, a young single mother who just bought a fixer upper, right next door to a total scrooge(aka Henry). Sparks fly, literally and things get complicated to say the least.

I’m one of those people who loves Christmas romcoms, I would be a little embarrassed to admit how many Christmas movies I watch yearly. This felt like one of those movies, and I mean that in the best way possible. I could totally picture it, the house with all the lights. The to good to be true family Paige has, all the Christmas spirit. Love it!

Other then that the writing is too tier, it has a dual pov, grumpy x sunshine trope, can’t go wrong with that one. If you’re into age gaps and the single parent trope, which is really growing on me it also has those. Evie really made this book special, such a cute kid. Cat the cat is my new spirit animal. And there are so many funny moments and quotes.

I highly recommend this one to all the romcom lovers out there. And obviously a perfect fit for this time of year
