The Raven Boys, by Maggie Stiefvater

4.0

Although not a lot happens plot-wise, a lot of groundwork is laid in the character design that I can appreciate. The characters weren't clones of each other in their habits, traits, or voices. I look forward to following them through this series.

The only character I found boring was the villain. He could've at least been a clever or darkly funny villain, someone we love to hate, but he was just... a creepy bitch lol, but I see now that he was more of a plot device.
