The Drifting Classroom: Perfect Edition, Vol. 3 by Kazuo Umezz

2.0

(Series Review)

The artwork in incredible, but not enough to make up for the deficiencies in plot, narrative, and characters. The story of a school that mysteriously vanishes should be compelling and lead to a grand reveal. Neither is strongly accomplished in Drifting Classroom.

A 6th grader who can perform an appendectomy? A child's imaginary creatures coming to life? Time-traveling telepathy?

It's as if J.J. Abrams created a manga, and that is not a good thing.
