This might be a totally unpopular opinion because nearly everyone who has read this book seemed to adore it. It took me way too long to read. There was something about it that just felt like a drag. The whole idea of the book was good but it just lacked something for me. I found myself getting bored and I had to keep putting the book and sometimes I didn’t pick it back up for days.
I’ve been putting off this review because I hate being negative about books. I enjoyed the characters but it was just missing something that would’ve made them work better. Maybe the whole book was too slow paced? I’m not sure what it was. Safe to say I won’t be reading the rest of the series which is a real shame because I’d been looking forward to reading this series for a long time.
