I was hoping the ending of this book would make the rest of the reading experience worth it but unfortunately, it only made it worse. Adam as the main character did nothing for me. I was somewhat intrigued by how the Romain storyline would tie into the present but it ended up feeling goofy and contrived. I was interested in reading this author's other books but now I'm not so sure.
