I enjoyed this book from the series and am glad they brought back some previous characters from the other books. The plot was more exciting and captured the emotional frustration of how the police department works. Also was a great addition to adding and seeing Dexter develop into a parental dad. This book had some great surprises to the plot and at the end to get you excited for the next book in the series.
