Playing Hard to Get by Monica Murphy
5.0
Way to wrap the year! This book was fun, spicy, an had me giggling all throughout it. Knox and Jo Jo are particularly enjoyable if you ask me. For me this book is five-stars all the way. I really enjoy it and it's easy to read, I like the tutoring thing that the author got going and the fact that he was practically a super star but wasn't an ass was definitely part of the appeal that this book has.
It was THE cliché of the shy girl and the super star football player, but with and upgrading kind of thing. I like the communication and maturity of the character, specially the brutal honesty of Knox. He was always honest and went straight to the point. He wasn't afraid of his feelings and neither to say them.
There wasn't a big plot in this book, everything was pretty predictable but it isn't lacking anything either, I think is a safe book because there's not much going on really, that's why it's so easy to read. At least for me it was.
Also, I like the way the author introduces us to the story of Blair and Cam in the last chapters, I have to admit I'm intrigue. Because even though it's super obvious that something's going on I would like to see how their story goes down.
Knox, my man, are you really that blind?
