The Nanny and the Heartthrob by Krista Sandor

5.0

What a way to finish a perfect series than save the best for last. Don’t get me wrong all of these characters hold a special place in my heart, yet there is just something about Landon and his tough little niece that stole the show. Landon is a heartthrob pop god who was part of a band, but time and tragedy has taken its toll on him and his status. As he is trying to make his way back o the scene, he is also navigating a new role as caregiver to his niece, Aria, and being in a very unexpected marriage with Harper. Landon doesn’t see himself as this amazing man that we as readers see him, he struggles with so much that he keeps hidden. He is this loving, caring man that not only has the looks, but his heart is huge it made sad to see him struggle, but Harper is this feisty ray of sunshine to his gloom. Harper’s life isn’t what she had envisioned for herself as she struggles with not only her career but helping to provide for her grandmother as well. As she struggles with everything in her life a night in Vegas has her and Landon connecting on a different level and what happens does not stay there. Harper and Landon have this undeniable chemistry and yet they have their own insecurities that hold them back. When they are trying to navigate their new temporary future, they are all becoming close and even Aria is starting to come around. This story was hilarious, tragic, yet beautiful as they all learn to handle their own struggles both individually and separately. I will never look at a bonbon the same ever again, but I will absolutely go find me a bunch to devour after reading this. This series with all the amazing stories, characters (especially the kiddos), and bond they all have has made this easily one of my favorites to love from humor to love it has it all!!!
