The Soul of an Octopus: A Surprising Exploration Into the Wonder of Consciousness, by Sy Montgomery

adventurous emotional funny informative mysterious fast-paced

5.0

Absolutely fascinating and compelling throughout, like the strong prehensile suckers of Octopodes, I couldn't be torn away from this book. Montgomery does an incredible job rendering her subject matter surprisingly human, and the stories she tells of connection between octopus and human, and importantly, among those who study and care for the cephalopods was brilliantly executed.

Recommended, regardless of whether you have previous interest in the subject!
