Life Is Strange Vol. 2: Waves by Emma Vieceli

4.0

This volume was set two years after the first; I wouldn’t have figured out the time frame if it wasn’t for Rachel mentioning this. That aside, I enjoyed reading this comic. I liked the introduction of the new characters and the re-introduction of previous characters from the first volume. It was sad seeing Max having to keep a part of her and her knowledge closed off. You could tell the internal and external struggles this was causing. Although there isn’t much time jumping in this volume, it was good to still see a magical element in the comic. It will be interesting to see where it takes in the next one. Of course, the ending of ‘This Action Will Have Consequences’ makes me want to pick up the next one immediately.
