This might be one of my new favorite fantasy series. The plot twists always caught me off guard and happy endings in every book were very welcome. The first book was my least favorite, but I understand all the world-building that had to be done for the rest of the books. The middle books we so full of adventure and even at 22 I had so much fun following the characters through each journey in each book and came to love every character. The last book was the best way to end the whole series and wrap everything up in a nice bow. All the favorite characters throughout the series were brought back and reunited and it made me very happy.
