This is my third unlimited flow danmei (after Kaleidoscope of Death and Mist) and I think I've learned this is not my *favorite* genre 😬. Didn't really get emotionally invested until the 25% mark but after that I was all in. The relationship and flirting between You Huo and Qin Jiu (especially QJ's one liners) are what kept me attached to the story. There is something so endearing to me about a couple that falls in love in multiple times. Their relationship is really special and I am glad I finished the novel. 

Aside from *some* of the exams/challenge tasks  I found boring/too long, I did really enjoy it and will re-read it when Rosmei publishes it so it's 5* for me! Amnesia is a big part of this which I normally don't like but it really works here and it didn't bother me at all. If you like these things, you might enjoy this novel:

✏️Power couple but also chaotic

✏️Grumpy/sunshine

✏️Slow burn (but it's definitely there and very worth it)

✏️Fade to black 

✏️Fun side characters that form a team

I really wish  I had started highlighting Qin Jiu's one liners from the beginning of the book because there are SO MANY and they are perfection. Some of my favorites:

"I'm here to have an affair with you"

"How can you do naughty things without me"

"Even if the system throws me out and clears out my memory, I will come back"

"I'm not here to save you, I'm here to love you"
