As with all of the books in this series, I enjoyed this story. It's definitely the only book series in which I've read TWELVE books. I felt like the plot of this one was weaker than the others - it's obviously meant to start to tie together the whole story whilst setting things up for the final book, which means not much really happens here. I also missed Violet's inventions.
However, I enjoyed getting some answers and seeing so many characters throughout the series come together, and I liked the new characters introduced. Also, I loved the backwards writing in the book - I did read them in the mirror and felt like I was 7 years old with a spy kit.
