The Snowman by Jo Nesbø

2.0

Pulse-pounding, grisly, and twisty, but also overwrought. This has been hyper-lauded, and I can understand some of the appeal. However, I can't help but think the story would have been better served by a measure of restraint.

audiobook note: capably narrated by Robin Sachs, with just the right balance of desperation and menace
