This is the first book I’ve been able to sit down and get through in months, so I’m pretty grateful to Andy Weir. It’s definitely my favorite read of the year. I could see some folks having trouble with it if they aren’t able to suspend their disbelief a bit — this author’s whole “thing” is scientific logic-based plot progression but obviously he takes more than a few convenient liberties. I was really hoping the end of book would tease a sequel because   there’s still a lot of interesting directions his world-building could lead.
