I admit. This book wasn't too bad. I disliked how it just...ended like that, but I'm happy it's part of a series. One very long one.
I hate how there is a love triangle. I mean, take TAM. Who cares about David? Why do you care? He's nice. Big deal. You have HISTORY with Tamani. I mean, he was all kind to you. And he's one of your kind. He can teach you more about you! (As a faerie not a person.) Gah.
The action was weak. I would prefer more. This book is more about Laurel discovering who she is. But. I hate her name. Laurel. Why not Bluebell? Or Buttercup? (Sarcasm, my friends.) She annoys me a bit. Alright. We get it. You are a little weak. BUT. Why couldn't she use her magic? She's a Fall faerie. She should have helped her father. And she didn't.
I do love how the myths got all mixed up.
And Chelsea! She's such an odd character. A bit of a stalker with the whole David thing. -shrugs- I do think she deserves more apperances. She's a pretty cool character. Weird but cool!
And the coooovveerrrr. Beautiful. Honestly. I'm not joking. Beautiful.
