A latin love story between Cattleya and Matis. Cata is a Soccer star in Latin America. She has it bad for a hot tattoo Argentine man, Mati who is a quiet engineer with a bike. Love an MMC that is both cinnamon roll and willing to do anythung for her! My heart explodes for the way he cares for her and treats her like the Goddess she is!
I cant relate to playing at that level but playing soccer up through high school I can relate with Cata. Balancing school and sports, the anxiousness of games, and being out for an extended period of time due to injury.
Lissa has my props for mental health/therapy representation, especially with a male character and opening those conversations! I feel seen as an anxious person who's mind can spiral and self fault.
I appreciate the included a map and glossary and English translation throughout to better follow for those not familiar with that language or culture.
My only complaint is in some spots it felt very jumpy between parts, like missing linking info, and others felt like unneeded info, or mentioned and then not really brought up again like her friend Isla.
Otherwise it was a nice read and loved the women/soccer empowerment!
