Catching Fire was hands down my favorite in the trilogy when I read it ten years ago, and oh my god? It’s still amazing?
I only remembered vague bits from the story, and seeing everything play out again, meeting some of my favorite characters again (hello to my side crushes Finnick and Johanna), and being CRUSHED by certain character deaths again........... My heart wasn’t ready. The action had my heart beating so fast even my Apple Watch was concerned for me.
I feel 13 again in that I’m wholly consumed by this world and its inhabitants and my brain is just mush.
Also of course the obligatory mention: Peeta Mellark will forever be the fictional love of my life.
