Hollyn is reviews the night life of New Orleans under the name Miz Poppy, while struggling with social anxiety due to her tourette syndrome and Jasper is making coffee at her shared work space while dreaming of starting a theater with his improvisation group and learning to manage is ADHD. I read somewhere that the author Roni Loren is a social worker or therapist, and I think the care and respect she gives her characters is amazing. I loved this book: it dealt with challenging mental health issues while also empowering the characters, while also just being a super enjoyable book. I will be trying to read all the authors other work ASAP.
