I received an e-copy of this book from Net Galley.
While I liked this book, I found that it was a little slowly paced. There was a lot of information in the end that is making me hope that it gets better and more action packed. I didn't really care for it being written in "Textlish." It gave me a headache and made it really hard to read. I would have preferred a few examples and then it being written normally. I was also hoping there'd be a little more explanation on the magic, but considering that Nat didn't know exactly who she was, I can look over this. I hope there will be more magic in the second book.
Overall it was a entertaining and a decent read. I'll probably read the second book when I get a chance.
