I love Colleen Hoover
I almost have all her books
and I understand that this is one of her earliest books
She obviously gets better by time
but this book makes me understand all the hate she is getting
some ppl calling her style whattpaddy (though I have no problem with Wattpad, read some amazing stories there)
but even as a debute book, this book sucks
Layken comes out as whiny, needy and childish
It's like she wants the world to revolve around her
she is 18 after all who just lost her dad
but Will has lost even more
give the man a break
and Will
oh god
he is the example of a man who wants something, cannot have it, but cannot seem to let it go
also, what is this notion of making the MMC have all the interesting qualities but he FMC just a pretty face
TBH, i wished the book was about EDDIE not Layken, she seemed to be more interesting
I am glad this was not the first book I read by CoHo
otherwise i would have Xed her
