The History of the Siege of Lisbon by José Saramago

Did not finish book.

I tried by 83 pages into the novel and I'm still not comfortable reading novels featuring stream of consciousness. I'm not sure I'll be revisiting it sometime in the future, it's hard to appreciate the themes that this novel is tackling when I can't even keep myself focused on the story. It's just not for me.
