This was quite the book. It was a lot of information, stories, and topics all combined into this one book. And I mean it covered topics about the internet, childhood trauma, raising toddlers, marriage, house renovations, poly relationships, diet/exercise, and more.

I definitely felt like there were a lot of topics that I personally related to, and I'm sure many that others can as well. Where things fell flat for me was the fact that there were SO many topics. Some stories almost felt like side stories and made me wonder if it was useful to the plot of the story.

And maybe that in it of itself was my issue with the book. There wasn't an exact plot to the story. I guess the marriage of Jack and Elizabeth and how they navigate life together? But even then that's a flimsy guess.

I think listening to the audiobook allowed for me to enjoy it a bit more and actually finish. I'm not sure I would have finished if I were reading the physical book. So much felt like it could have been condensed and unnecessary to the overall story.
