Beautiful Burn by Jamie McGuire

4.0

"In that moment, Tyler Maddox and his fires filled a hole my soul I hadn't known existed".

Key themes: romance, alcoholism, class, sexual tension, unreliable narrarator, recovery

Another amazing installment in the Beautiful Disaster extended series. I seriously cannot get enough of these guys. The Maddox brothers are intoxicating.

Firstly lets talk about Ellison. I understand why she is the way she is, but man is she an asshole. This is the entire point of this character though, and man is her character arc SIGNIFICANT AF. I like who she starts to become towards the end of this book, however I still think she needs to redeem herself a little more.

Tyler is another Maddox, and honestly I couldn't really differentiate him from his brothers too much. But I DONT MIND because as I've said before, I love the Maddox brothers.

I'm keeping this review short and sweet, just like the story.
I'm overall giving it 4/5 stars, because really like these books. Out of the series however this one was probably my least favourite, but still, theres not much to complain about. If you're this deep into this series you'll love this book irregardless of some of its minor shortcommings.
