This book honestly broke my heart for not only Oliva, but for all the girls that got taken, and their families. There were parts of this book that tugged on my heart strings so much. Jennifer Hunter did such a great job describing how the events that took place affected the characters .

I truly thought the story was going to end in the middle when Oliva died, however I'm happy that at least one of the girls was able to escape, and hopefully went on to live a good life along the Oregon coast
