A Fall of Marigolds by Susan Meissner

3.0

Two compelling stories of loss... but the story set in the past felt overblown, a little overly dramatized. Not that a person coudldn't have those experiences, or those feelings... just that it seemed a little far fetched, and therefore harder to get caught up in the story.
The connection between the two stories also seemed tenuous.
But it was enough to keep me reading, and rooting for the two protagonists to find happiness, whatever that means for them.
