The Iron Daughter by Julie Kagawa

3.0

Meghan is still dumb. And for the first 90% of the book, useless. Everyone's fighting to save the world and she's off in a corner trying not to throw up or stumble or cry about the injustices she faced in high school. When no one's fighting and she, Puck, and Ash are trying to get some rest, she swears up and down that she can't sleep, she couldn't possibly sleep, she fights sleep. And then... the next chapter starts and someone's trying to shake her out of a coma-like sleep. What is she, a toddler? Quit throwing tantrums over going to bed.

I'm going to read the next book, only because I want to see her grow into her new found power. And gain some balance. Or sense. Eh, who am I kidding? I'm sticking around for Grimalkin (kitty!) and Leanansidhe. I'd add in the love triangle, but it's pretty lackluster. Perhaps the third book will only have 50 mentions of high school.
