A charming short novel that I found easy to read but not as absorbing as I’d hoped. It put in my mind Deborah Levy’s Things I Don’t Want to Know and The Cost of Living, but the issues never really seemed to be addressed in any meaningful way.
Moderate: Homophobia, Misogyny, Sexism, and Sexual assault
