A spicy monster romance in which a young woman, Violet desperately needed a job or else she’d fall behind on student loans, bills, and forced to move back home. When an ad appears stating wonderful benefits, great pay compared to other jobs, it seemed like Violet hit the jack pot! Little did Violet realize she wouldn’t just be working at Morning Glory Milking Farm as a milking technician, but literally MILKING MINOTAURS! This monster romance was set within the small town of Cambric Creek, a Minotaur male lead, a determined struggling young girl woman, and a whole lot of spice mixed in with some sweet moments.

Violet and Rourke were different species, and yet they found themselves falling in love. The world set within this book was unique in the sense that humans, and varying species of monsters lived amongst each other. For Violet, working at Morning Glory Farm, she found herself working back to being financially stable, but also the place where she met Rourke. Now, this story wasn’t a literary masterpiece, but it was a fun, spicy, and surprisingly cute romance between Rourke and Violet. Never have I read a romance between a human and a Minotaur, but hey, there’s always a first for everything. I had heard about this book a while back, and for curiosity sake as well as being in the mood to read a monster, I thought I’d give it a shot. Turns out, I was surprised by the nature of Violet’s job, but how she slowly but surely became comfortable in it. I think the romance between Rourke and Violet was sweet, had lots of spice happening, and it seemed like Violet enjoyed herself throughly haha.

If you’re looking for a fun, sweet, fairly fast read with lots of spice, and an interesting story involving a monster then I say, why not? Not every book has to be a deep meaningful story, sometimes you might just want a book for the sake of reading smut, and that’s what that book was for me.
