Kingfisher has done it again. Absolutely brilliant. This book is like if Matilda and Ever After and Tangled had a baby, but much darker and more magical. Cordelia has my whole entire heart. They all do. The ending was perfect, the characters were believable and human and unique and relatable, the villain was clever and vicious and intimidating. This book makes you feel so many emotions. I'll be thinking about this for months. As a final note: fuck narcissistic parents 🤙🏻
