Did not finish book. Stopped at 14%.

I know this is supposed to be a dark romance but I wasn't the biggest fan that when the hero met the shero that he slaps her for no apparent reason (unless I missed that).  I also cringed every the hero referred to women as whores and when the shero called herself one.  Just got ick factors.  So then I searched for some spoilers and yeah, this one isn't for me.
