I listened to the audiobook and this book blew me away. Tackling racism involving the KKK but with an alien twist involving the Ku Kluxes, a race of creatures who fought for the KKK. The combination of race, love, cultural diversity and a touch of sci-fi, all set on the backdrop of real events in Georgia. I adored the mention of specific places in GA, especially Stone Mountain, well known for battles between the races. This is even more relevant for 2020/21.
And an opening at the end suggesting the possibility of a sequel.
Highly recommend!
