I eas hoping it would be more action. I felt like i didnt quite undersand it a lot of the time. The book just wasnt what i expected it to be, and that is usually a good thing, but not this time?
I just felt kind of let down by it. Like it was supposed to be more of it. Not like more in a "i didnt want it to end that way", but just more in the middle. If that makes sense.
I also dont know a lot about the history in Ukraine and Sovjet and Russia, and i think if i knew more about that history, that maybe i would have understood the book and the context of what happened and why it happened more than i did without that knowledge. I think i would have liked the book more if i had that knowledge
