Chaos: Making a New Science by James Gleick

informative slow-paced

3.75

Despite the deep topic, is a light quick read. Leaves a lot to be desired in terms of the details, but is still a good introduction to mathematical chaos and how it affects the world around us. I enjoyed the historical aspect, with tales of discoveries and the folks involved.

Importantly, I should mention, however, that if you truly know nothing of chaos going into this, then you are in for a treat. It's really a paradigm-shift in the way that you see certain problem, and given their wide applicability, perhaps even the world around you.
