I loved this book so much I want to marry it. I never read Jane Austen themed anything, it has never appealed to me. But this was highly recommended by a trusted friend and the movie looks good and when I realized the author is the author of two of my favorite books/graphic novels ever (Rapunzel's Revenge and Calamity Jack) I decided to give it a try. Oh my goodness was it good. I was listening to it everywhere - in the shower, on two minute car rides, at work. Completely obsessed. It isn't a parody, but it isn't fawning copying either. It is an original story that pokes loving fun at those of us who love Jane Austen maybe just a little too much. This book was a hoot.
