Black Panther, Vol. 1: A Nation Under Our Feet, Book 1 by Ta-Nehisi Coates

5.0

I really liked this one, especially the revolution part. I agree that the government should always serve and protect it's people. I did get a bit confused at times because of the narration/ the changes in narrators. But other than that, I really liked this book. It explored how a society that pushes nature to the edge and technology to the forefront can really become corrupted, because for the sake of progress, we forsake our humanity and compassion for our fellow human beings. I loved the art and costumes throughout this book, and I especially loved the revolution aspect, and how these people were banning together to defeat a corrupt monarchy. I really hope to see more of the series.
