How do you rate tragedy? This book opened up more info for me about this terrible day. I personally didn't know anyone that died, but this day from then on shaped my future and back then I had been 20 years old. All these eyewitness accounts from the VP to people in Congress to firefighters and then to know you lost a friend or loved one. The story of heroism that day to show that our country could not be defeated, powerful as ever. For those who were too young or had not been born then this is one of the books you need to read, I don't know how many times I cried or just drifted off into space thinking where I was at that given point of the day. For those who remember this may be a difficult read.
There are images in this book so trigger warnings of suicide, devastation of buildings, talk of people jumping. Death and devastation overall.
