there’s only one thing keeping me from giving this a complete five stars despite devouring this book in one sitting. while the book itself is marketed towards a YA audience, i did not get that impression initially. while the characters are technically eighteen, the conversations gravitated towards more adult conversations that didn’t really fit into this genre the author wrote it in. i absolutely loved this book, don’t get me wrong. it completely ripped me out of yet another one of my infamous reading slumps. four stars all around.
