I literally cried a river reading this book. Yes it's a fiction but I know it has happened (and still happening) real life in Afghanistan.
This book gave me so much insights about what happened in Afghanistan esp under Taliban rule. As a non-afghan, those stories were closest to knowing the hellish life of afghan women, the taliban's torture & the outcome of destructive wars. Such a tragedy :(
