“Across the nations the stories spread like spiderweb laid upon spiderweb, and men and women planned the future, believing they knew truth. They planned, and the Pattern absorbed their plans, weaving toward the future foretold.“

This was a very meh installation of the series - so much politic-ing. There were some really boring things in here that I couldn’t care less about…so I’m really thankful to have finally acquiesced and started to love the audiobooks. There were some really cool moments in here too, I loved having more Perrin, but I missed Matt. I swear, the endings have so much oomph to them, why can’t the adrenaline be dispersed through the whole book?
