Did not finish book. Stopped at 25%.

I understand that parts of this book are taking place in the 80s, but I’m not interested in reading books where the characters throw around gay jokes and call each other f*ggot, whether that’s realistic for that time period or not. The nice thing about being an author is you can create a world where people don’t say shitty things, especially if they don’t serve the plot at all.
