Asterix in Britain, by René Goscinny, Albert Uderzo

5.0

Caesar invades Britain but a single village in Kent remains independent. Asterix's cousin is dispatched to Gaul to enlist the help of Getafix. Asterix & Obelix accompany him, to help transport a barrel of the potion. References to modern day Britain (of the 60s) include the Beetles, left-side driving, rugby, and of course, tea (saw that one coming from a mile away the moment Getafix mentioned the herbs came from a faraway land).
