Meet Me in the Bathroom: Rebirth and Rock and Roll in New York City 2001-2011 by Lizzy Goodman

emotional funny informative reflective slow-paced

4.0

incredibly comprehensive; more than you'd ever want to know about the 2000's post-punk revival movement. read it because i'm a massive interpol fan and also love the strokes, franz ferdinand, and lots of other bands of the era. yes, meet me in the bathroom is incredibly, even excessively detailed, but that is what it does best! it's a brilliant tribute to the era, a love letter to new york city, and must have been an incredibly challenging undertaking.
