I really enjoyed the writing and the story here. It did feel like it borrowed a bit too heavily from certain other popular series but combined those elements in a way that was more satisfying overall the other series. The way the enemies to lovers trope played out here was especially satisfying and the plot twists toward the end were excellent. I thought the world itself was unique and interesting although I would have liked a bit more thorough world-building.
