The disjointed flow of superhero comics from one issue to the next confuses me so, so much. They never seem to be in a particular order, especially one that makes sense to newbs. A lot of backstory seems to be missing, or else they’re assuming every reader is entrenched in this world so backstory is unnecessary. This is volume 1 of a classics series centered on Deadpool, but apparently I’m meant to be familiar with past exploits and run-ins with bad guys. I’m so confused. A friend recommended volume 2 as a good starting place. Now I’m thinking I should have followed his advice. But I’m stubborn and think things should follow proper alphanumeric order. Apparently not in the wide world of superhero comics. (My apologies, Tim.) Onward!
