This was just okay for me. I read mostly mystery and thrillers, so I'm used to a faster pace. This was slow. Incredibly slow. In fact, not much happens in the first 2/3 of the book.

There is also a lot of descriptions. In my opinion, it was just too much. It did paint a very pretty picture of Sicily though.

This was not for me, but I can see the appeal for others.
