After reading what I think is the best book (3rd book) in the series I think this 4th book is the most disappointing. Let’s get into more detail.

I will still acknowledge the fact that this is still good, however this specific installment focused more on the emotional side of the story and there are so many times I kind of got confused while I was reading it. There are so many flashbacks here which is kind of confusing and the riddles confused me more.

I think the events that took place here were just recycles of the events that already took place from the first three books which really disappointed me. However, the plot at this point becomes really solid that I knew the things that would happen next. The deaths of some characters were kind of predictable and I just knew that this characters weren’t dead yet because of how emotionally detached the writing was in relation the their “supposed” death scene. Also some of the terms were kind of cringey for me but I think it served its purpose at the end
