I still have that child-like wonder in me and I will be forever grateful that a middle grade story like this still get me to that wondrous feeling. Basically just an ordinary 13 year olds girl that happens to be a witch. She has to do a coming of age ritual for witches; that is she has to find a witchless town and make her life there, being of service for the people. The first taste of independent isn't like how she thought it would be. The readers are flying along with her as she meets new people and places. A very wholesome book that is not boring at all.  I don't read this in one sitting, but anybody else might does. So engaging and idly whimsical. Such a vibey book. Interesting characters and adventures. A lovely read!
